What is a Private Employment Agency?

It refers to offices established by real or legal persons authorized by the Institution to mediate the placement of job seekers in suitable jobs and to find suitable workers for various jobs and/or to carry out temporary employment relationship establishment activities.
 
Private Employment Agencies are real or legal persons that provide the most effective mediation service between job seekers and those looking for employees in the labor market, in a workplace or through the means specified in the Press Law No. 5187 dated 9/6/2004 or through radio, television, video, internet, cable broadcast or electronic information communication tools and similar broadcasting tools, provided that they receive authorization from the Turkish Employment Agency, without receiving any fee or commission from the job seeker, in return for the job placement activity under the protection of private law and within the framework of a specific contract.

Private employment agencies;
 
• Act as intermediaries in finding jobs and workers,
• May carry out services related to the labor market and employment and human resources,
• May organize vocational training,
• May establish temporary employment relationships if authorized.
 
The mediation activity can be provided by one-on-one interviews with job seekers or employers at a workplace and/or through the means specified in the Press Law No. 5187 dated 9/6/2004 or through radio, television, video, internet, cable broadcasting or electronic information communication tools and similar broadcasting tools without an interview.
