It is used for waterproofing under the roofing material (tile, shingle etc.) in pitched roofs.

 

BTM Tile Bottom is a waterproofing membrane with glass tulle or cellulose fiber carrier, produced from oxidized bitumen, polyethylene film on the bottom surface, polypropylene canvas on the top surface, applied with a wide head nail.

 

Surface Preparation

The application surface should be cleaned from dust, dirt, rust and oil, and loose parts should be scraped.

 

Method of Application

The BTM Waterproofing Cover Tile Underlay, which is nailed parallel to the groove direction and starting from the lowest level with wide-headed nails on the coating board, should be overlaid 10 cm as it is raised and the entire surface should be covered in this way. -

 

BTM Waterproofing and Roof Covering Under Tile is 1 m wide and 10 m long and offered to the market in rolls. BTM Waterproofing Membrane Under Tile and roofing cover Storage Conditions and Shelf Life should be stored in a covered and upright position. If rolls need to be stored for an extended period of time, they should be covered to protect them from the sun's rays. If rolls are to be stacked without pallets, they will not be stacked. In stacking with pallets, a maximum of two rows can be placed on top of each other.
