Leverage (Caraskal)
What is Hoists?
Caraskal literally means differential pulley. One of the reasons for the use of hoists is that the lifting force is less than the load being lifted. However, this situation brings along a disadvantage besides providing benefits. Since the hoists are low when lifting the load, they perform a longer period of lifting.
How does Caraskal work?
Hoists can pull the loads attached to the hooks of two reels moving at the same time and in the same direction to the structures of the desired length. In chain hoist systems using endless screw and gear technology, the pull chain called hand chain is pulled and the endless screw connected to a circle is moved.
Along with the worm screw, the worm gear also moves. The chain connected with the worm gear is lifted and lowered to the desired height by turning the gear together. There is a hook at the end of the chain connected to the sprocket. The desired load can be attached or hung on this hook.
