What is Slotting Machine?
The machines designed for cutting and cutting the so-called sawdust from wood or wood with cutting knives, designed for you to perform operations such as bay windows and face opening and surface opening when necessary, are called planing machines.
Woodworking is the second machine used as a hand tool after machines called band saws. Large band saws are used to plan the rough cut of the tree by planing a face and a bay window. This process is fixed to the adjusted extent with the help of a trench and correction work is done with the planer. After the bay window and grating, it is passed back to the thickness machine or circular saw machine to bring it to the desired thickness.
What is the working principle of the slotting machine?
The power generated by the motor is transferred to the cutting blade with the help of belts. The blades turn on the horizontal axis and cut by removing sawdust from the part to be applied. If these parts are not fixed after the blade rotates in the working direction, it is seen to be thrown. Chip thickness can be adjusted with movable tables at the front and back of the blade. From these tables, the amount of chip at the front is adjusted as a horizontal square with the table at the back. In these machines, the large surface is grated first and then the large surface is planted by leaning against the narrow surface 90 degrees perpendicular to the narrow surface.
