What is a Welding Machine?

 

Welding machine is a type of machine with mechanical and electronic equipment necessary for welding. In order to understand these machines, we need a certain level of knowledge about electricity.

 

At the beginning, we should state that; electric current is an electron movement. If electrons are provided with suitable environments, they move in the direction where they are less or less. This is a general electrical rule, and electrons move from the cathode called the (-) pole to the anode called the pole. This movement of electrons is called "Electric Current". There is also an excess of electrons that activate electrons between the + and - pole. This is called "Tension".
